A few other things to consider...
It is very important that you consider the longevity and serviceability of your heater before you install it. You will need to plan your installation and use the following components to extend the life of your heater and make it possible to service it. It is imperative that you install your heater using these components.
In-Line Filter

This filter is specifically designed for tankless water heaters to maintain the proper GPM flowrate which is crucial to it's performance. A single element sediment filter will preserve the life of your heater by protecting the integrity of the flow switch. The flow switch is vital to a heaters performance and longevity as the heater is switched on and off automatically over five million times in its life. Keeping the flow switch clean and free of debris is of utmost importance and will keep your heater running problem free for many years to come. This simple to install filter will save you time and money as it will enhance your heaters life expectancy and save you from costly repairs in the future.

Dual Element In-Line Filter Our dual-element filtration system provides extended life of your unit, increased flow rate, 80% added protection and fewer cartridge replacement intervals. Ideal for those looking for a "set it and forget it" type installation and especially for regions where hard water is a continuous problem.

Whole House Carbon Filter Our low-maintenance, easy to install Premium Carbon Series is the ultimate whole house water filtration system. No other system with a limited lifetime warranty addresses as many chemicals as this proprietary design. Our premium, pure activated carbon high-capacity, virtually maintenance-free system is easily installed in any home and has a 600,000-1,000,000-gal. /5-year capacity, the best value on any whole house water filtration system in America! Only the top rated components and tanks are used in manufacturing each system, which are backed by an industry leading limited lifetime parts warranty. Imagine, spring like water through every faucet of your home. Drink, bathe and shower in sparkling clean, pure water. No more dry itchy skin or unpleasant odors from the chemicals in your water.

Filter Cartridges

Replacement filter cartridge: (3) per pack. Proprietary designed 5 stage filtration media for our housing.

Filter Cartridges

18" Braided Stainless Steel Hose with 3/4" Female Connections                                                                                    Series CWH-S Flexible Braided Stainless Steel Water Supply Connectors for Water Heaters are used in residential and commercial applications, specifically for tankless water heater hookups. These connectors provide easy installation, full flow capacity and protection from vibration and bursting under pressure surges and seismic activity. Series CWH-S connectors consist of Santoprene tubing jacketed with braided stainless steel, and permanently attached, inner-brass insert, compression end fittings.

In-Line Pressure Gauge

Pressure gauge provides true accurate PSI readings (+/- 1% (ANSI/ASME grade A) from 0 to 100 PSI. 2 inch dial, 1/4 MPT lower mount.  Ideal for your tankless system.

Siemens Disconnect

A must-have when installing your tankless heater. The Siemens disconnect allows you to connect your electrical line to the heater's factory wire harness with ease. Instead of using wirenuts which fail, increase thermal load and may damage your unit, the Siemens disconnect provides a solid line-to-line connection utilizing screw-in lugs for a tight, reliable, no fault connection. You will need two of these when installing an N-180 or N-210.

Wire An essential yet often overlooked component when installing a tankless water heater is the use of the proper wire. The heater will simply not work properly if you do not use the correct wire size. You will need to use 6/2 wire for some heaters and 8/2 wire for others. The price on this wire is by the foot so just put in how many feet you need in the quantity section of your cart and we will determine the type you need based on your heater selection.

   Pex Tubing

PEX Tubing: Available in 1/2 and 3/4 inch is the #1 alternative for copper, brass and other rigid plumbing pipes due to it's flexibility, lower cost (up to 8 times less than copper) and ease of installation. The non-barrier type PEX is typically available in blue, red and white colors to designate cold and hot water lines, but may also come in different colors, such as grey. The use of PEX and SharkBite fittings in combination will result in a perfect, hassle-free and professional tankless system project. Sold by the foot.

Pipe Insullation ArmaFlex Thermal Insulation (for 1/2 and 3/4 inch copper, cpvc, pvc, or pex pipe): Thermal insulating the heaters outlet line will increase its performace and efficiency. For colder climates application, utilizing pipe insulation on both inlet and outlet pipes protects water from freezing in cold winter periods and maximizes heaters efficency, performance and degree of rise temperature. The price on pipe insulation is by the foot so just put in how many "total" feet you need in the quantity section of your cart during checkout.

Relief Valve With any tankless water heater, this pressure relief valve is something you cannot do without. One of the things you want to guard against with any heater, tankless or not, is water overflow from pressure build-up. Why run the risk of over-pressurized water lines bursting and leaking onto your closet, kitchen or utility floor? Install a pressure relief valve to prevent ruptures to your tankless system from too much water pressure. Protecting your investment should also be a primary concern when installing a new tankless water heater. This simple yet effective device will extend the life of your heater by protecting the components subject to rupture from over pressurized water lines.

Valve This is a must have for all tankless water heating systems. This valve system is required for maintenance purposes and by most building and zoning plumbing codes. You can completely shut of the flow of the water to the heater and cut off any back pressure from the outlet side of the water line without affecting the flow of water to the rest of your house. These valves will allow you to service the heater if needed as well as replace the pre-sediment filter cartridge and winterize with ease. In addition you can use this ball valve to balance water pressure to your heater unit where water pressure exceeds recommended levels and control total GPM in and out of unit for maximum performance. You will need two of these for any heater.

ACV Valve ACV Valve: Designed to avoid "Dry-Start" due to air pockets in plumbing lines. Air pockets can occur at any time, both with city water or well-pumped water. Normally caused by thermal expansion and dissolved oxygen in water lines. The ACV valve eliminates these potential problems by not allowing the unit to activate prematurely and thus avoid a "Dry Start". This is a key component and works in perfect union with the pressure relief valve.

     ACV Valve

Huge Selection - lowest prices. Guaranteed! Save time and money when you use our Sharkbite style push-in fittings when installing your heater with CPVC, Copper or PEX tubing.  Soldering is a time-consuming and skill-intensive method for making typical plumbing joints, plus soldering cannot be done in wet conditions (therefore requiring extra drying time during repair jobs). In addition, many situations require connecting different pipe materials (copper, CPVC and/or PEX). No soldering, glue, unions or clamps required. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to form a perfect seal. The SharkBite style connection system is ideal for any job where speed, versatility and strong joints are required. These fittings easily and simply push-in or pull out, making your project a breeze.
